According to the formal statement, "A mysterious confrontation leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where hints of prohibited practices and fearsome transformations reverberate through the shadows." The storyline features a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a clandestine sect.
The questline centers on "strange experiments and a terrifying enemy" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Familiar Locations and Transformations
The trailer highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser ends with a striking scene showing a character, presumably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
